Everything is based on MIDI standards so it all can be hooked up professionally.

The base of SongForge is a low overhead audio engine suitable for web multimedia and gaming too.

We do not require you to register personal info. We endevour to be child safe (and be great for learning). We don't use cookies.

Here is an original composition we made in app. We used our own 'generative' feature to help create the three main channels. Then manually added Taiko drum and bells to complete the oriental feel.

We are the ONLY interface we know of, that clearly shows notes with play-strength for all channels, and even aftertouch in a single friendly view.
Easy Multi-Track Arranger
Simple drag to add/adjust note properties like durations and strengths. (We tested with a 7-year old)
Record directly from interface or from MIDI input.
Easily load FREE Virtual Instruments
Add multiple audio effects (eg. Reverb) to each channel.
Mixes samples, synths, together with enveloping for a great sound.
Export compositions to MIDI files. Your music is never locked-in.

The SongForge engine can support far more than the editor uses, so expect to see more soon. Feel free to make requests for prioritizing.

AI Policy.

We do NOT currently use LLMs for composing. We do NOT require your music to be sent outside your device. We do NOT use it to "train" systems.

Our generation features work differently. We do however believe AI systems can be positive, and technologies will ONLY be used by us, when it can be done in a manner widely accepted as moral, AND completely transparent.

Future Possibilities

While this was originally developed as a side project, it is exceeding all expectations so far. It has already inspired younger generations to get creative. I am looking to expand it more. Any ideas/proposals are very welcome. Really, just get in touch.

There really is so much more in the pipeline already. I will no doubt need help in various areas to get it where I know it can be.
